He wants to take his Cyprus professional licence as it states nothing to do with driving test, certainly nothing to do with UK road signs.

The Cyprus follows UK standard road rules. The UK road signs is more than enough for your preperation. Actually it has more than you can find in books locally and more accurate. You can get lot of info on internet. One I like http://www.driving-test-success.com/uk-road-signs02.htm. The video lessons logic are better than Cypriot driving teacher can teach you. You can try it on ur own car and practice.

My son bought a book called The Cyprus Roadusers Code (English translation), t tells you everything you need to know to sit your driving test. He bought it from a bookshop, can't remember which one though.

As far as I know they do not exist - the official languages of the Republic are only Greek and Turkish.
