How is imported vehicle registration calculated?

No duty to pay commercial, reg last month including years tax Transit 2.5 tipper 745.00 euro. Have to mot no matter how old and get emision cert (free) prior to registration.

dont do it its a bloody nightmare my uncle brought a 2 grand van over 1900 d was going to cost over 2.500 euros he sent it back ro.ro still cost 600 euros to do that, it also opens the door to be blasted with questions your status, tax eligability to work .type of visa etc,etc, etc, they do not like imported vehicles good luck alex

that is road tax, we are talking about registration taxes

Who said you dont have to pay tax?

For a 1.8-1.9 it is €1,30 per cc.

No idea sorry, but it is very vague something to do with their wishy washy classification of whether a car is a luxury car etc not sure, be good to find out
