One theory is that if they have to bring their prices down, they announce that they will be closing down, this induces panic buying at todays higher prices until their stocks are empty, then when the next delivery comes they will sell at the capped prices.

The petrol strike is meant to last 8 days but I personally believe gov will intervene before then. Non-privately owned petrol stations are open but unsure which they are. I'm sure we will all know soon enough through the grapevine... :)

they say it will probably last for more than one day but some petrol stations will remain open. but I encourage you to fill your car tonight as you never know.
I went out tonight and all the petrol stations are full, imagine tomorrow when all the tanks will be empty and they are going to be on strike also.
