Does the the lead in the back of the Cytavision box not go into a router ? If so then the router should have spare outputs that can be used to connect to a laptop. Or did you mean take out the lead from the cytavision box and connect it to your laptop ? They should have the same size sockets.

Also you can connect your router to a network adaptor which can send your internet anywhere in the house where there is an electric socket. It sends the internet signal through the electrical wiring of the house.

Dont think so....I had to have a Ethernet cable run from my MODEM (in our back bedroom) the full length of our house to set up a computer using my TV as the monitor it cost around €40 added to our next bill. But would pay you to ask a CYTA engineer when passing one on the street. Patcon
