Could be a re alignment of the dish or it could be the LNB. These do not last more than 3 years but usually 18 months on average because of the heat, power surges or lightning. They slowly get weaker so BBC is the first noticeable channel to break up in the evening (channels 131 is the worst followed by 180) CH4 is usually the last to go as that is the strongest on 2D,which means if that is breaking up, then BBC and the rest are much worse.

A new LNB always improves the signal.

Like you we have lost bbc1/2 itv2+1 all from 6pm onwards. before that time the picture is perfect.
I thought I may try having the dish realigned but on enquiring, i was quoted 50 euro just to tweek the dish.
I am in Peyia area.

We have noticed that here in Limassol, over the past few weeks, our satellite reception has got significantly worse. We are now losing C4 (which used to be good) from around 6.30pm most evenings. Anyone else noticed any changes in reception over past couple of weeks?? Am having to resort to using the internet more and more just now!!
