I'm a mathematics teacher. I had a student who used to come to me as a back up to a distance learning program she was participating in which she claimed was the best program. She was a very strong student...a straight A but the program had deficiencies. going by what she told me, i would not recommend such a program other than for very strong and independent students...they are cheap courses and there's a reason for it - they dont get the attention they require, the kids often need questions answered and cant get the help from such a course. Better to be used just as a backup to other teaching.
