Hi again Karen,

Can you clarify for me please. Have you given the builder a chance to correct the faults following the surveys you've had done? Or were the three attempts before your surveys?

Thanks Johnners for your reply.

We did give the builder 3 chances to fix the problem, and the Architect said we only had settling in cracks. We were advised to have independent reports done, so we have had 2 reports done, one report from ETEK (nicosia) and one from Limmasol, they both say the same, we have subsidence, this is incorrect drawings, and the builder not following the plans correctly.

So we have got no other option but to go to court. We know what the system is like but we must start somewhere, other wise they have won.

Hello Karen,

Do you feel, and have you been advised, that all other options have been exhusted?

Depending on the action you could be in for a long and protracted affair. Costs could also spiral and even if you win you may not be awarded, or be able, to recoup all your costs.
