Thanks, Journo!! I did send them an email. My goal is to lead someone to these resources without scaring them off, you know? Victims of abuse can put up walls pretty quickly, locking everyone out.

Domestic violence is not just physical. Psychological attacks are also included.

Try contacting the Association for Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family here in Cyprus. Their website is: www.domviolence.org.cy (in Greek) or http://www.domviolence.org.cy/?lang=EN&catID=14 (in English). They also have a Crisis phone line (1440).

53 Aglantzias Street, Aglantzias Avenue, 2108 NicosiaTelephone: 1440Fax: +357 22 462930

If they can't help directly, they will be able to tell you who can.

Thanks, Nigel. I see that they do deal with human trafficking and that sort of thing...

There is an organisation called the Stigma Foundation, but I do not have any contact details.
