I was in your position 3 years ago. Social insurance helped me. Go upstairs and say u want to make a compline. DARE, it's your righy. Do you have soc ins number ?

And people, since now make copy to your ceque. Ask the bank, they are nice, will make.

it is illegal for an employer not to pay SI. Do you have a cypriot social security id no? Ask social security to check for u. Did you keep any records that you were paid by ur employer? show this to them.

Social insurance must have been paid. Supply the relevant authorities with proof of your engagement with your past-employer over the period, so that he would be forced to pay it (think about letters, bank receipts, company's documents, witness statements etc.). If you still have some trouble with the situation, consult a lawyer.
