It could be difficult to get definitive answers to your questions for several reasons.

Since Cyprus joined the EU there is free movement around the EU, therefore there are no comprehensive records kept anymore (some would argue there weren't any before joining the EU)

Generally anyone from the Europeon Union can stay here for three months at a time without applying for full residency/citizenship.

Many people live here for nine or so months of the year and then return to the UK for three months. Technically they live here but don't appear in the statistics as such. With many people renting for several months when first arriving here the government will always be playing catchup on the figures anyway.

Plus are you going to be counting the families on the bases? As this figure would skew the result because of the turn around in postings elsewhere.
