HI TRACY WE RELOCATED TO PAPHOS IN JULY 2009 AND WE DROVE FROM SCOTLAND TO SALERMO IN ITALY WHERE WE THEN BOARDED THE GRIMALDI FERRY FOR FOUR DAYS STOPPING AT PIREUS/GREECE THEN IZMIR/TURKEY THEN FINALLY TO LIMASSOL. WE BROUGHT OUR OWN CAR AND THE COST WAS £350 EACH PASSENGER AND THE SAME FOR OUR CAR. CABIN IS ADEQUATE FOR SLEEPING BUT THATS ALL (NO MOD CONS ETC) YOU ARE GIVEN BFAST/LUNCH &DINNER EVERY DAY THAT IS AWFUL!! AND IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR CAR BE WARY OF CHARGES AT LIMASSOL PORT!!!!

HOPE THIS IS OF HELP TO YOU. carolyncameron1964@hotmail.co.uk

FERRIES FROM EUROPE TO CYPRUS

Grimaldi ferries from Salerno Italy to Limassol.

Very basic accomodation but fantastic if you like pasta meals every day ----- it gets you and your car to Limassol from either UK or Italy .

Most of the boats are quite new

The availability of berths is very limited so book well in advance.

The alterative is to drive to Greece put the car on a ferry to limassol and then fly over to Cyprus picking the car up at Limassol port a couple of days later.

If you're trying to find a ferry because you're trying to bring your car here then I'd opt for shipping the car from UK and flying here. You'll more than likely end up flying the last bit from Greece anyway!!
