It's the same number and they will give you your local one if you have one. They have not received the funding as yet, so keep in touch with them as not starting any lessons until then.

Yes there are free Government lessons in Pafos, Lefkosia, Lemesos and Larnaka - in fact in all towns and many villages. Ref my post number 3 . I also posted details for the Larnaka Ammochostos area in post number 5.

I repeat, thanks to an EU grant the classes will be free this year. Starting in January, there will be 90minute lessons twice a week and available at all levels. In past years, each course has been 24 lessons (and originally they were November-May. I assume with the new schedule the course will take 12 weeks (with breaks for any school holidays).

Hi,

Government offer free greek lessons to foreigners two evenings a week at the local schools. I registered 2 months ago. As I did not hear from them I called last week and they advised me that they were having difficulties sorting the courses out and that they were been delayed until december.

The number to register is 24813264.
