Hi Stellaluna,

Yes Malev all the way.

All four flights were on fairly new Boeing aircraft and the seats were comfortable and a good amount of leg room. Baggage allowance was either 20 or 25kg (can't remember exactly) not bad for a 'economy airline' and the choice of food was good on the longest leg of the trip. The short hop from Budapest to Zagreb was snacks and sandwiches but as you stop over in Budapest for a couple of hours then have a meal there. The airport catering was very good as airports go and, most importantly, inexpensive.

Did this route 18 months ago for work. Only about 4 to 4.5 hrs flying time but with the stop over bit of drag.

Larnaca via Budapest to Zagreb, it's a stop over of about two or three hours in Budapest for the connecting flight.

Just looked at the cost for the beginning of Feb and they're quoting €280
