Agree woosh. In fact, here you find more good brands and the latest fashions from France, Germany, Italy, and Spain than you can find in Britain, where most of what you get are the regular and similar chain stores.

Limassol is also a good place for shopping.

Ignore the negative remarks! Just come over & enjoy your shopping! Its amazing how people like to put down Cyprus all the time!
Sure, fashion is dearer than Europe. Weigh up the pros & cons and see that Cyprus is a way better place to live than in the UK.

If tourists want to shop let them!!!!!!

Nicosia has really good shopping. There are all the main high street stores like zara, mango, topshop, charles & keith, gant, nautica, etc. There is also london clothing company which stocks french connection and superdry. If you want designer clothes, there is gucci, versace, D&G, louis vuitton, Max Mara, etc.

A really good place for bargains is the Max Mara discount store which has loads of max mara clothes at great prices - eg 40 euros for a pair of shoes. I've written a blog about it with directions of how to get there http://newworldmonkey.blogspot.com/2010/03/max-mara-discount-store-nicosia.html

I see Zara and Mango almost everywhere (in Cyprus), are they the most welcomed/preferred brands for cyprus girls? Besides this 2, any other brands? We came from Singapore.

BTW, does girl wears t-shirt in Cyprus? I plan to bring t-shirts & jeans rather than short sleeve shirt and skirts.

Thanks.

Yep

When you land remind yourself to change the time on your mobile phone back 3 years, as far as clothes are concerned. Old designs at 3 or 4 times the cost of new designs in the UK.

Better call your bank for an overdraft.
