Don't forget you have to gentlly rub the lower tummy to make them empty out. The mother cat normally does this. I've hand reared loads but lost one once as i couldn't make him go. It turned out there was an infection. It's quite tiring work good on you.

How often are you feeding them and are the having enough? Also, they will need worming regularly during the first 8wks of age (I would advise getting something decent from a vet rather than over the counter stuff in order to make sure it works properly and gives them the best start in life). feel free to pm me if you have any specific questions - I'm a veterinary nurse and have handreared literally dozens of orphaned kittens and puppies whilst working at the RSPCA! Good luck with them ;-)
