Have you looked at this site http://www.britishhedgehogs.org.uk/ lots of useful information most of which is relevant to helping hedgehogs here in Cyprus too. You could be their overseas correspondent!

Aww really well fair enough i suppose... i was looking through some forums with people who had hedgehogs and they look so happy .. but yes i agree .. they are wildlife after all. I do feel sorry for them here in cy though.. because i have seen so many splattered all over the road, i think they are such beautiful creatures .. thank you though for the info :)

It would be cruel to keep a hedgehog as a pet they are wild animals also they tend to have fleas and mites , Just not suitable as a pet

Hi. I am almost 100% sure that it is now illegal to sell Cyprus wildlife(in petshops). I have rescued a few hedgehogs from them and set them free. In any case it's too early for baby hedgehogs and they are not suited to captivity. Stellaluna would know for sure - she has many postings in this forum.
