Hi,

How does one go about getting a powerboat license and is there different requirements dependent upon size of boat?

ho ho shiver me timbers sure am glad wify said no no no . to the boat ..bought trail s bike dt yam dont even need m.o t .for it bad news is road tax is 10 euros a year..

There is also another thread relating to licenses on Anglo. if you're permanent resident here a RYA powerboat license is not enough. Has to be Cyprus poerboat license

This circulation permit has been a requirementn for many years as has a VHF license for certain sized boats.

All the equipment required on board the boat is available for purchase from Ocean Marine Equipment in Limassol.

You can call them on 25369731. they have both native English, and greek speakers.

We have a yacht in Latchi harbour, to date, not one of our fellow boat owners have the new licence... obviously they are looking into it:-)

However, we understand that it does not apply to boats over 15 metres?
