You can check skiing and driving conditions on the net, there's a webcam that is normally updated several times a day. If you have a look at it now, there's actually some snow up there! http://www.skicyprus.com/webcam/ Driving conditions can be found here http://www.cyprusski.com/main/default.aspx?tabid=3 and they also tell you about the skiing conditions, how many lifts are open, etc.

Last year we managed to ski several times, the first time was just after Christmas and friends went up the last weekend in March so last year's season was pretty good! If this rain continues then we should get lots of snow.

A word of advice, though. If you go up at the weekend make sure you leave early to get there for about 9-9.30 a.m. as the roads become very crowded and you may be stuck in a queue for hours!

Trip time from Oroklini to Troodos square is around 1:30 via Nicosia. The roads are passable most of the times for all cars. When veryslippery are usually open for 4x4 cars or cars with tyre chains.
