You can get it registered in half an hour, get the new plates straight away, wait less than 48 hours for the CG to arrive then you will be up and running. How hard is that?

Because a vehicle must be FULLY legal in it's country of registration, which means UK recognised insurance, UK MoT test and UK road fund license (or whatever it's called this week).

If you have declared it permanently exported to the DVLA, that's what it means, permanently exported until you have re-registered, insured, taxed & MoTed in the UK.
