Disposal of old tyres. How ?

You haven't said where you are, but here in Locoal Mendon (south 56) there is a company called GLD, who recycle  tyres.  They have lorries picking up from garages etc so they may well collect.

Woodworker,

if you have a local garage, ask them. The one next to me stacks them up at the side of the garage and every so often someone comes with a big truck and takes them away.

if you have 40 tyres, it might be worth it to the used tyre people to come collect yours.

Our nearest dechetterie will not take old tyres not on wheels - if they are on steel wheels  it's ok-crazy.
