please find the china ones are more brittle and will break very qwickly hence rhe price also the  cutter  on the machine will need to be replaced   10 times qwicker but dont tell the french as they dont no  ,  All good key blanks are made with silca or jma  on them the rest are useless ,

C22., tried to ring S, but no answer, however in the meantime, solved the prob, got 3 blank keys on the net, from !CHINA!  put the electronic bits from the old keys in the fobs, got the blanks cut at INTERMARCHE, all for a total of18€ compared to 170€ for ONE key as per Toyota Redon quote.

c22? Thanks, will give him a ring, btw the electronics are no prob, it's just the plastic fobs are disintegrating, but many thanks Brian 61.

You will need to "mate" the new key to the cars electronics. It usually involves you in sitting in the drivers seat and carrying out a sequence of key moves within a short space of time. Read these instructions carefully and give it a go, doing para 8 once only to add the new key. Another site gives the same instructions. You could also do a youtube search incase someone has put it on there.
