LV (Liverpool Victoria) give up to 6 months in any one year - various trips - for the same cover as in the UK. You pay extra for it. All UK insurers are obliged to give cover for the minimum requirements per EEC country, however long you are there.

Talk to your normal insurer. They should be happy to provide cover while you remain a UK resident. I can also recommend SAGA, their policies give 365 days of European coverage.

Equity RedStar.

I can stay for up to 60 days at a time and unlimited visits.

I recommend going through A-Plan, who will find the best policy and rate.
