Watched  "the walk" at a friends last night and loved it loads.

It is a film about a french hirewire-tightrope walker who wants to set up his wire in the highest places possible and dreams about walking the wire between the twin towers in new york and sets out to achieve his dreams.

I was not able to take my eyes of the tv for the two hours that the film took. A great story that will take your breath away.

Absolutely superb

Men in tights?, you could try the producers, blazing saddles, airplane 1 & 2, life of Brian, the pacific, or if you want a really boring afternoon you could sit through the go between, I was in that one and so bored I decided acting wasn't for me.

I am surprised the movie hasn't been mentioned so far: Men in Tights. I have watched it twenty odd times and detect new funny scenes every time.

As its Christmas surely it has to be The Great Escape!

What about Mandela - The Long Walk to Freedom.

Pride also has my vote.
