Also keep an eye out for the summer markets (one's held in the evenings) as these often include music, dancing and firework displays :)

Thanks that is very useful.

They live in Lignor (hope I have spelt it correctly) I will see if I can find a programme of events for 2016 or failing that 2015 to give me an idea.

Most of the  brocantes usually happen the same place & time each year, so where your nephew lives is important - they run from March to October usually - more of them in the summer months.  However sometimes you get a lot in one area and only a few in another so where in Brittany is important - it is a big place.
