Yes it is and I have done  But it is fraught with problems and so unless you have a really good reason I wouldn't advise it    Email me if you want further details

You cannot "rent out" a SCI.

I think you would have to set up an SCI (societe civil immobiliere ) which is a holding company and the uk company can be the owner , its so the local taxes can be paid from the SCI on any potentiel rental earnings

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible. After all if a UK company wants to set up an office in France, it would presumably be able to buy premises.

But if by 'investment property' you mean letting it out, then, having completed the purchase, I don't think you'd be able to generate an income from the property without some kind of French business structure.

Why not ask a notaire?
