come on pilot sharpen up, can't you see the bit in invisible print ? or is it only huey that can see what the rest cannot? the emperor's new clothes ?

 

ps as my father used to say; what do get when 2 welshman get together? a choir ! scots or irish a booze up, but put 2 english together and you get an argument !

Huey before yo tell us were wrong I would suggest that you read the posting, it refers to the Carte Gris only, and the advice given is absolutely correct.

Sorry previous 2 responders, thats not all you require.

You also need a form declaring there is no outstanding debts on the vehicle.

My response confirmed it was not compulsory, but I added to the info.

And if the seller wants a quick sale and the buyer says do you owe money on it, a sale could be lost.

As it happens we have recently bought another car, we were not in a hurry, and the lady (old Brit), did not want to go through that routine.  We took the chance, but unlike UK, do not think you can do it online.  We do not have oodles of cash so were quite bothered until the car was re-registered.

If SABC wants to go through the procedures, its as well to know, as well as reading the AI info.   We found it excellent, and its free!

Huey, that form is for the buyer to demand, it's not compulsory.
