Take every piece of paper you ever owned with you! Seriously though, you will need your S1 form, birth certificates, passports, marriage certificates, proof of residency........to name a few! If you have a printer I suggest you get copies for them already - it will help them (and probably give you a few Brownie points!). When we did it we took every document we could think of 'just in case'. We went to the Morlaix office and found them to be very helpful. We had our Carte Vitales in just a few weeks if I recall, I know we were surprised that they arrived much quicker than expected.

Good luck.

Be patient, I have been waiting 14 months for my carte vitalle  after applying in Pontivy., having to show my assetation is a nuisance.

Is that a link for the CPAM office?  As I need that office to get a social security number?  I didn't think there was one in Pontivy?
