You do have the right to cancel and receive your refund in full, under the distance sales regs (now called Consumer Contract Reglations in the UK)  which are EU law, irrespective of how you paid.

You have no automatic right to a refund with a debit card unless they choose to give you one or if it is for goods or services THEY have cancelled.  I suspect that they will hang things out and deliver.

Try contacting the customer services of the card company.

However, if it was a debit card I am sure you do not have the same rights as with a credit card.
