good link there....so much depends on date of purchase, revenues ceilings etc.... ,It's now running down (and no longer available fom oct 2011, even habitation principale),  so assuming you have been asking for this in previous years the tax office will already have copy of your contract surely?  I think they are the best people to advise you.

As I understand it you can off set interest against tax if you have a mortgage on a property which you rent out if you are a tax payer.
