I understand that BNP and Societé General both French banks have branches in Montreal, they may be able to assist you.

Credit Ag also has an office there.

Britline is very helpful. Once you have made the change to Credit Agricole in Grand Champ who have English speakers. Good luck in your move.

Have you thought of Credit Agricole Britline? They are actually based in Caen but are a very efficient online and telephone banking service in English. We opened an account with them before we moved over and have stuck with them for banking even though we are in the far west of Brittany. They offer all services but be aware that insurance can be a bit pricier that more local services. We did change that once we were settled.
