Thanks Ozzy502,

I have spoken now to Orange and they are setting up for a week 1 hour calls and 10 texts (I thought that was odd only 10 texts but still)  for 15E. I agree PAYG is so expensive.

Thanks again

When you get to England you will receive a text from Orange offering you different types of tarif depending on what you require. I always go for the unlimited texts and one hour of calls which I use to phone France for 12 euros and lasts for 7 days. It's taken directly from your account. When I haven't used this it's never long before I receive a text saying my blocked tarif is near it's maximum and thats only when I've texted. The other option is of course to get a uk sim card but on a pay as you go tarif it eats money when you use it for calls.

Hope this helps.
