I always take the train from Auray station direct to Nantes train station then the shuttle bus to Nantes airport.  The whole journey takes a little over two hours.

If you go to the SNCF site voyages-sncf.com you will find the answer.

There are no railway stations at Baud or Pontivy which have train routes from them.  All the connections are by SNCF bus.  The closest working stations would be Lorient or Vannes I think.

For example the 0925 weekdays in July from Nantes to Pontivy costs €31.60 and takes 3h 54m with a change from a TER to Autocar at Vannes.  Other connections go via Rennes, Le Mans, and St Brieuc.
