hi when i did mine i had to go and collect it even when i got there it was in an envelope ready for posting

It may all depend on whether you included a stamped adressed envelope.

My partner was able to go on line to the St Brieuc Prefecture site and see the progress of his application.  You will need an ID number,or dossier number, to access the info. Check the email they sent you to see if they have given you such a number.

Mine came in the post from St. Brieuc but that doesn't mean anything.  Inconsistency is the name of the game here.

you will have to give them your original UK licence - unless you have already done that. When we added towing to my husbands we had to go and collect it and hand over his other licence(the first French one). When we changed form UK to French we handed in his UK licence with all the paperwork and the issued him with a paper so he could still drive then they posted his new one.
