Sorry should of said for Monday 13/4/2015

Thanks for your replies, I am actually on board at the moment, yes, for anyone interested the A La Carte is open from the time of boarding until 9.30 am (UK) time, the breakfast buffet is excellent, their take on the full English breakfast is a bit hit and miss but the buffet at just under £8 is very good value, unlimited tea/coffee and hot chocolate, cereal, pastries, cheese, ham, salmon, yoghurts, dry and fresh fruit, very good value!

Unfortunately there is a medical emergency on board, they have tried to land a helicopter but we are in deep fog, so initially we were to divert to Le Havre but now they have decided to stay put and send a hovercraft to collect the sick passenger.

I caught the 8.15 from Portsmouth to Caen last month. The a la carte restaurant on the Mont St. Michel was open when we boarded for breakfast so I imagine it will be the same on your crossing.

Not sure what time it opens but you can't book a table unless you have a Comador cabin.  It's first come first served.
