We have read many things about BF, both good and bad. Last week we had to cancel through illness at fairly short notice. It took three calls, the last being to James at Customer Services. Their offer was very reasonable in the circumstances, so many thanks to James and Brittany Ferriies!

When checking BF prices do it incognito mode, you wont be bothered by their cookies then.

BF claim to be offering a deal ex UK on 4 days trips out of season. If you book on the website these maynot come up. Best to give BF a call and ask for the 4 day deal - it is very dependent on crossing times and dates. Good luck.

We have tried it every way to get the best out of booking a ferry ..

In the end we now book well ahead ..  we get the crossing time / day we want ..and  usually the cabin we want .. takes a lot of stress out "playing the odds" ..

Ones you have booked you can always "fine tune" the booking via the website ..

Brittany Ferries have been OK to us most of the time .. and when not .. we ask for a change etc ..

Oh .. we have done nearly every crossing ..  Calais .. Dunkirk .. Le Havre .. Cherbourg .. and find for where we live Josselin, that St Malo is the best ..

Have a great year ..

Was there something about deleting cookies to defeat their booking system if you are checking their prices regularly to find the cheapest price - or have i got that wrong?
