As others have said you get a half price cabin for afternoon sailings and a free cabin for mornings but they are full price overnight.  If you haven't pre-booked just take your ticket and membership card to the information desk and they will issue you with a cabin key onboard if there is availability.

Cabins are free for full members and associate members of Club Voyage (if you have booked a vehicle) FROM France in the mornings and FROM the UK in the afternoons. No such discount for mere foot passengers.

Book your ferry. When you come to accomodation select either 2 person inside cabin or 2/4 person inside cabin. When you get tobthe final screen the costs are listed and the cabin is free.if you opt for a more expensive cabin you will only pay the difference between the two types.coming from the UK you get a free cabin if the sailing is after 12 noon.
