Thank you so much Suzanne, we actually went this morning. A lovely welcome from the volunteers, and their heartfelt thanks to us for items donated.

I agree with your comments re pricing, from what I saw, admittedly just a few things the prices seemed very reasonable. It was also quite busy, here's wishing them well in all they do for such a caring cause :-)

Bollydolly,

I think the current opening times are every day except Monday morning anf Sunday afternoon.

10.15 - 12.30

14.45 - 17.00

Maybe someone who works there could confirm or correct.

luckyboy69  I suspect you are exaggerating - the Charity Shop has a faithful clientele and is an asset to the town (in the words of municipal councillors).  The team works very hard for a very worthy cause - improving palliative care & reducing suffering for the terminally ill in francophone Africa.  They can wisely use every euro they can make, so it's difficult to see why they shouldn't price things as the market allows.

Hats off to all of them at Hospice Africa France !

Suzanne

It's not to shop, but to drop some things off for them.

I wouldn"t bother. Its very overpriced. Dont mind giving to charity but dont see why they should rip you off.
