Thank you so much everyone, we really appreciate your help. We just want a blessing done really, not a full wedding ceremony anyways, so absolute fluency is not essential. I will contact the diocese and see if they can help.

Lorient comes under the Diocese of Vannes (unless I'm very much mistaken), so I guess the place to start is there.


Most younger priests, and a lot of older ones too, understand and can speak some English - it depends how good at it you want them to be!

The catholic priest in the St Nicolas du Pelem parish is English. You would probably need to contact him either through the Marie or the diocese.

The priest in Ploermel is English - but not catholic. No use, I presume
