LRV24, thanks, we love Mont St Michel. Feel very lucky that all these wonderful vantage points are on our doorstep. :-)

There was something on AI face book page (I think in January) about going to Mont-Saint-Michel on 20th March due to the high tides.  Might be worth a visit :)

According to Brittany Ferries website, no disruptions, but always better to check everyday.

Will this affect the ferries?

Mont Saint Michelle for high tides, see the new bridge underwater. Low tides are more spectacular and St Malo would be as good as anywhere for them.

Thanks DN, the funny text made us laugh, thought you were giving us special information!  Ironically we actually went to Cancale today on a little "recce" Can understand why it could be quite spectacular, thanks for the suggestion.

shepherdscrook....your reply also made us laugh, remembering  the last high tide in St Malo when the French news reporter...literally was swept of her feet. Even the finest waterproofs in the world would not have keep her dry!

Thanks again for both your recommendations :-)
