Found a campsite, I emailed the St Brieuc Office de Tourisme and got a reply within an hour. There is one about 20 mins away from Plerin

It's the law and it's usually the Maire who enforces it when caravans try to park up, still, might be worth asking.

Surely it can't hurt to ask the Marie if none of the camp sites are open! The worst they can say is no.

Caravans are not permitted to use Aire de Campingcar sites.  They are expressly for camping cars.

Hi,

If you google 'Plerin camping car aire' you should find the details where you can park.  I think they are one night only stops, the address of the aire and contact details for the local Marie should also be there.  Our local village has a similar small camping car aire.
