Azur Models, I have looked for the history of the symbol :) but can't find any info.  Can you let me know where to look please? I am quite aware that the symbol : and ) are on the keyboard  and have been for a long time, but :) is not a standard keyboard symbol as you say it is. A reply would be grateful to one so old as you say!!!!

Azur Models, are you telling me that people send official letters with such symbols on them? For example a bank, a county council or are they just used for texting, face book etc, oh and A1.

:-) with a nose..

Yes, you are or must be getting old.  If you seach the history of this "symbol", it has been around since the typewriter.
