It's all down to "Le jour de Rameaux" (which was 29th March) so I'm told !!!!!

certainly not such strong winds here as last year - we had 4 trees down last Feb 2014, but the cold windy days seem more prevalent.

For the last month my weather station has recorded 10 to 20 mph with gustiest being 35 mph.

Depends where you are situated, I suppose.  We are on a hillside facing due south, and the winds coming up from the south-west this past winter have been some of the worst i have encountered in nine years.  Sea crossings have been pretty horrendous, too.

The last few weeks there have been stronger winds than I ever remember for March here in Huelgoat.  Having said that Jan and Feb last year the winds broke all records in the south west of UK last year.

No- climate change used to be called "the weather" could we please get back to just calling it,

"The Weather".
