There is a Facebook page on properties for sale in Brittany. Also look on www.green-acres.com You deal direct with owners although some firms advertise there too.

All property sales have to involve a Notaire, a bit like sales in Scotland, so the Notaires have formed this site http://www.immobilier.notaires.fr. Many of th eNotaires speak English and as you will see many f these properties have been on the market a while.  French buyers seem to prefer new houses with small gardens - it has the benefit of high insulation and low running costs.

We bought out house using the Notaires that advertise on this site. Other English orientated sites are Grrenacres and http://www.french-property.com/.
