Why don't you look on the ASDA direct site - they deliver to France for a flat fee of £10 and their bedding is available in all sizes with a good choice of colours - it's also very cheap compared to what you pay here.  Orders normally arrive within a week.

Yes, IKEA if you are close to one but all the major supermarkets sell fitted sheets.  As a previous poster said, "drap housse" is what you are looking for.  Carrefour are particularly good, lots of colours or just white and fairly good quality.  They even have "flannelette" ones!

I have a UK size mattress and have had no problem buying fitted sheets for it.  It's a standard double. I have bought them in Carrefour, Eurodif and SuperU.

Hi maidmarion, you need to look for a "drap housse". Look in the supermarkets. If your mattress is a UK size you may find you are unable to buy the right size.

\For a fitted sheet it will say on the wrapping "avec bonnet" and  it should tell you  the depth of the "bonnet" as mattresses come in different thicknesses.
