I'm not a computer wiz but I have in the past spent hours trying to resolve a problem which ended up with a reboot so now I have one hard drive with windows on and everything goes on a slave drive, easy to fit easy to set up I even store stuff recorded off the TV to watch later plus photos music etc,if you pick up any sort of virus it won't effect the slave drive and you just reboot the rest.

Thanks for your reply geegee42.  I tried your suggestion re google translate and think the problem has been resolved.  If not I will definitely try your other suggestions.

If its Google translate loaded as an add on delete it and re load it,if that doesn't work re boot the PC back to a previous restore point if that doesn't work then re boot the system and start again ,its always a good idea to have a second hard drive as a storage unit then if you have a major problem you just start over,I found that out very quickly after having little fingers tap tapping things they knew nothing about.
