Clean the jet  with thin electric wire or fuse wire  it's only a blockage

If it lights but won't keep burning its probably the littl brass type finger that sticks through the ring , Its called a thermocouple and it cuts off the gas if the temperatures aren't right (common fault) Any gas service or plumber will fix it , not too expensive .. If you are near Rostrenen ask  Patrick Goaziou

If you take the top (loose) fittings off, you should be able to see the little brass jet. They are usually 6mm or 7 mm socket. Undo the jet and check that no debris is blocking the small hole, (make sure there is no loose debris in the recess that the jet sits in when you do this).
