:-) I have a couple of rear axles from AYP's - 1 manual & the other a hydro - but opposite end of Brittany from either of you.

BTW may be on the lookout for a 12.5HP B&S for spares or running - need the bottom end internals.

Shouldn't be too much of a problem, as long as you have the deck lift lnkages from 1 of them - what I've found in the past there's very little difference between any of the various named brand mowers where most of them are slightly modified re-badged AYP's. Main differences tend be in the belt tensioning section - most actual AYP's are operated by rods, the clones by cable. Also in the main both AYP & the clones tend to use murray decks but may use a different style mandrel, eg - the murray deck on a 42" AYP vs the the same 42" murray deck on a Viking.

Hi

I have an AE5135. The transmission is broken and the rest of the mower is bound for the tip, except the engine. It has a mower deck E. You can have the whole thing for spares if you want. The engine, Kohler, is relatively new as I replaced it just before the transmission packed up. I would be open to doing a deal on that.

The only problem for you is that I am near Rosproden.

Cheers

Hi,

Thanks for the info ..

The problem is that I am fitting a deck off a different mower ..

I need to physically see how it fits so I can "make adjustments"
