From my experience-3 houses bought in France (2 sold)-maximum exposure is the key. I had people from Belgium/Germany coming to look at a house I had for sale.Sold to a French couple from Paris.Greenacres generated loads of enquiries-mostly genuine for the second house. Sold to a British couple.

Speaking from a personal point of view, and having spent some three years off and on looking for a house in Brittany, I never once looked at a UK site. We used estate agents, notaires and Boncoin. might save you some money advertising if others feel the same.
