If its only for occassional use when you are out here , it might be cheaper to log on at the mediateque  near the Marie.

If you buy an unlocked mifi dongle you can swap between a 3 sim for the UK and an Orange sim for France, works for me, I think the data costs for the two are roughly similar.

I have phone/adsl with Free.fr which is 29,99€ per month including landline calls throughout Europe, but I'm pretty sure that Orange is the only one that has (if it still does) a special scheme for holiday home owners that lets you stop and restart your subscription as you come and go.

We have a Three MIFI dongle which works in UK or France. and connect in up to 5 devices. No extra costs for use in France. If you exceed one month in France more than 3 times a year it cuts off, but fine for holiday use.
