Thanks but three posts telling me what might be taking them - but only one with a solution!

Anyone have any other ways of stopping the fruit disappearing please?!

I've seen pine martens at night up one of our cherry trees eating cherries and arguing with each other.

Pesky birds had all my cherries yesterday! Think there's some sort of network that tells them the fruit is ready!

To stop birds completely you need to drape something really fine such as net curtaining flleece or we use dressmkers net which is really cheap

I think you'll find it's probably squirrels taking the fruit.
